Please note
- Luminaire manufacturers may also be able to equip pendants with DALI drivers
- The best practice for connecting floor and table lamps to mains is to use luminaire outlet sockets (traditional or DCL-type)
- Make sure that floor, table, and reading lights are ordered without integrated switches
Technical constraints
DALI bus
- The maximum number of devices is 64
- The maximum length of bus cable is 300 m (1.5 mm cable)
- DALI bus voltage: 12V—22.5 V (typical 16V)
- Data transfer speed: 1200 baud (asynchronous)
- The DALI power supply provides up to 250 mA for the DALI bus, each device may draw up to 2 mA unless bus-powered.
EnOcean radio
- Frequency 868.300 MHz
- Transmission range 300 m free field, typically 30 m indoor
- Switch power generation by rocker movement via electro-dynamic power generator
- The number of wireless switches is unlimited
